This campaign is dedicated to Jase Parker Bollenbach, a little boy who fought childhood cancer with courage and a smile, and who always thought of others before himself. Jase rarely kept a toy for himself. Instead, he shared them with other children who might otherwise have gone without. Jase loved magic and possessed the magic of his own. His magical power was spreading love. Jase’s Magic Closet will carry on his legacy.
Your tax-deductible donation to this campaign will be used to stock special Jase’s Magic Closets in key areas of the Children’s Hospital and at the OK Kids Korral, where Jase and his mom found a home away from home while he was undergoing treatment at the Jimmy Everest Center. In addition, the funds will help fund special experiences and camps for other pediatric patients.
Jase Parker Bollenbach was born in Enid, Oklahoma on September 4, 2013. He left us in his sleep on April 16, 2022, at his home in Oklahoma City. Jase was just 8 years old. Diagnosed with cancer as a toddler, his life was filled with years of treatment, but he was a fighter. He faced each new health challenge with courage, determination, and a never-give-up attitude. Jase was born with a special ability to transform strangers into friends and frowns into smiles. He was a true superhero – so strong and brave. Jase’s superpower was LOVE! People gravitated toward him. He wanted to help all in need and brightened the world just by being in it.
