Race for Time celebrates its 10th Anniversary in Ardmore this year, which features a train ride, trip to Southern Oklahoma Speedway (with a ride in a real race car), overnight stay, meals, Car Show (JEC patients and siblings choose their own winning entry), and games with prizes. For One Weekend, Cancer Takes a Back Seat

The Race For Time Childhood Cancer Family Escape Weekend gives children fighting cancer and their families something they desperately need—a chance to simply be a family again.

From the moment they board the train, the weekend is filled with adventure, laughter and unforgettable experiences, including a night at the speedway and two days packed with activities and fun. Every hotel stay, meal, ticket and experience is provided completely free of charge.

But the greatest gift isn’t the train ride or the racing. It’s watching children make friends with other kids who understand. It’s seeing siblings included and celebrated. It’s parents meeting other parents who have walked a similar road. And it’s giving an entire family a few precious days when cancer doesn’t get to be the center of their world.

None of it would be possible without our incredible sponsors, donors and volunteers. Because of you, these families aren’t just making memories—they’re finding friendship, encouragement and hope.
