Horsin’ Around at Remington Park gives Jimmy Everest Center patients and their families a chance to trade treatment schedules for an evening of laughter, connection and fun at the racetrack. JEC patients, families, clinicians and staff come together for horse-themed crafts, games, prizes, dinner at the track and plenty of time with the jockeys—capped off by the Friends of the Jimmy Everest Center Feature Race and a special trip to the Winner’s Circle. More than just a night out, Horsin’ Around offers families a welcome break from the challenges of childhood cancer and blood disorders, and an opportunity to make happy memories alongside others who understand their journey.
